Description:
Pimozide is a dopamine antagonist and diphenylbutylpiperidine derivative used as an antipsychotic; it reduces delusions and tics by inhibiting CNS type 2 dopaminergic receptors and antagonizing 5-HT2 and alpha-adrenergic receptors.
