Product Overview
Description:
Alpha-lactalbumin ELISA test kit is an indirect competitive enzyme immunoassay for the efficient determination of alpha-lactalbumin.
Assay Principle:
The α-lactalbumin in the sample competes with the enzyme-linked antigen for binding to the added α-lactalbumin antibody (antibody solution), which is colored by the TMB substrate. The absorbance value of the sample is negatively correlated with the amount of α-lactalbumin. The amount of α-lactalbumin in the sample is calculated by comparing it to the standard curve and multiplying it by the corresponding dilution factor.
Background:
α-lactalbumin is a whey protein that has a variety of functions, such as improving sleep, cytolytic activity, regulating lactation, helping to relieve stress and improve work performance, inducing cell growth inhibition and apoptosis, and improving abstract visual memory.
Synonyms:
LALBA; α-lactalbumin
Applications:
Alpha-lactalbumin ELISA test kit is used for qualitative or quantitative analysis of alpha-lactalbumin content in raw, pasteurized, and finished milk.
Research Area:
Food safety; Alpha-lactalbumin research; Obesity
