Description: Human interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing the presence of IL-6.

Assay Principle: It is based on IL-6 antibody-IL-6 antigen interactions (immunoadsorption) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IL-6 antigen targets in samples.

Background: IL-6 is a cytokine with multiple biological functions. It is a potent inducer of the acute phase response, acting on T cells, B cells, hematopoietic progenitors, hepatocytes, and cells of the central nervous system. It plays an important role in the eventual differentiation of B cells into Ig-secreting cells. It also acts as an actin, which is excreted into the bloodstream after muscle contraction and can promote lipolysis and improve insulin resistance.
