Product Overview

Description: AdipoUpX™ Human CEP19 MSCV Particle (Overexpression) is a high-titer MSCV particle designed for the specific and efficient stable expression of the human CEP19 gene. This centrosomal protein is essential for ciliary function and is strongly associated with morbid obesity. The MSCV vector is optimized for hematopoietic stem cells, stem cells, and other mammalian cell lines, ensuring consistent and high-level expression. This product supports flexible selection of reporter genes and passes through comprehensive quality control (titer, sterility, and mycoplasma) to guarantee research safety.
Production Cell Line: HEK293T
Promoter: Ubi; CMV; EF1a; Others
Product Availability: Produced Upon Order

Specification

Titer Test: qPCR
Insert Verification: Final QC confirmed the correct molecular size and integrity of the insert through specific PCR amplification.
Sterility Test: No microbial contamination was detected in any product.
Mycoplasma Test: No mycoplasma presence was detected in this final viral preparation upon comprehensive testing.
Other QC: Our service scope includes both customized supplementary testing and comprehensive in vitro/in vivo transduction assessments.
Storage: The necessity of immediate transfer to -80 °C storage following receipt is crucial for upholding the product's integrity.
Stability: Biological activity remains intact for 6-12 months when stored at -80°C. Once removed from the freezer, the diluted working material is stable for up to 2-3 weeks at 4°C.
Shipping Condition: Our MSCV retroviral products are shipped using dry ice.
Handling Notes: Store the vector according to specified conditions and aliquot it immediately upon receipt into low-protein-binding tubes, which is necessary to maintain titer because viral particles are highly sensitive to both temperature fluctuations and freeze-thaw cycles.
Intended Use: This product is intended for research use only and is not for use in diagnosis or therapeutic applications.
Product Disclaimer: Throughout all operational processes, users bear ultimate responsibility for product storage, handling, and compliance with all safety protocols, laws, regulations, and biosafety requirements. Although our company commits to product quality via rigorous internal QC inspections, the complexity of experimental conditions means we cannot guarantee product performance or experimental results in any specific application.

Target Profile

Gene Name: CEP19
Full Name: Centrosomal protein 19
Gene Symbol: MOSPGF; C3orf34
Gene ID: 84984
RefSeq ID-1: NP_001366398.1
RefSeq ID-2: NM_001379469.1
Summary: CEP19 encodes a centrosomal protein localized to the primary cilia, particularly the mother centriole, underscoring its role in cilia structure and function. Although seemingly structural, mutations in CEP19 cause profound metabolic disease. The gene's location is linked to morbid obesity, and functional studies show that its deficiency leads to a severe metabolic phenotype including morbid obesity, hyperphagy (excessive eating), glucose intolerance, and insulin resistance. In humans, CEP19 mutations cause Morbid Obesity and Spermatogenic Failure (MOSPGF), illustrating the essential, yet often overlooked, role of ciliary signaling in systemic energy balance.
