Product Overview

Description: 2-p-Toluidinylnaphthylene-6-sulfonate is a microenvironment-sensitive fluorescent probe engineered to investigate the conformational states of proteins and determine the apparent pKa boundaries of lipid nanoparticle formulations. Upon insertion into hydrophobic protein domains or surface charge-induced lipid bilayers, this analytical tool undergoes a structural constraints transition, exhibiting signature excitation and emission maxima at 321 and 446 nm, respectively.
