Product Overview
Description:
Sulfosuccinimidyl oleate is a specialized, cell-impermeant organic compound that acts as an irreversible covalent inhibitor of the fatty acid translocase CD36. By blocking the active substrate binding site on CD36, this functional lipid analog effectively impairs the cellular uptake of long-chain fatty acids like oleate, linoleate, and palmitate, thereby mitigating lipid accumulation and saturated fat-induced inflammatory signaling.
