Product Overview
Description:
PGJ2-d4 is a tetradeuterated stable isotope internal standard calibrated for the high-accuracy mass spectrometry-based quantification of native prostaglandin J2 profiles. The unlabeled parent molecule is a cyclopentenone prostanoid formed from the spontaneous dehydration and elimination of the C-9 hydroxyl group of prostaglandin D2, a chemical transition markedly accelerated by the catalytic presence of serum albumin; biologically, it exhibits powerful antiplatelet activity by inhibiting thrombus aggregation.
Labeling:
Stable isotope-labeled
Synonyms:
(Z)-7-((1S,5R)-5-((S,E)-3-hydroxyoct-1-en-1-yl)-4-oxocyclopent-2-en-1-yl)hept-5-enoic-3,3,4,4-d4 acid; Prostaglandin J2-d4; 2738376-80-0; (Z)-3,3,4,4-tetradeuterio-7-[(1S,5R)-5-[(E,3S)-3-hydroxyoct-1-enyl]-4-oxocyclopent-2-en-1-yl]hept-5-enoic acid
