Product Overview
Description:
N-Palmitoyl phenylalanine is a long-chain N-acyl amide conjugate synthesized by coupling the saturated fatty acid palmitic acid to the essential aromatic amino acid L-phenylalanine through a stable amide bond. This amphiphilic lipid mediator demonstrates a distinctive cell-free regulatory profile, selectively inhibiting pre-mRNA splicing kinetics in HeLa cell nuclear lysates with an IC50 value of approximately 150 µM.
