Product Overview
Description:
Lysophosphatidylethanolamine (LPE) is a naturally occurring lysophospholipid derivative generated through the enzymatic deacylation of phosphatidylethanolamine by phospholipase A2. This bioactive molecule features a saturated or monounsaturated fatty acyl chain at the sn-1 coordinate and a free hydroxyl group at the sn-2 position, acting as a cellular signaling modulator that stimulates extracellular signal-regulated kinase cascades, alters neurite outgrowth profiles, and mediates the feedback inhibition of partially purified phospholipase D.
Synonyms:
Lyso-PE (egg); LPE (egg); L-α-lysophosphatidylethanolamine; 1-octadecanoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine; [(2R)-3-[2-aminoethoxy(hydroxy)phosphoryl]oxy-2-hydroxypropyl] octadecanoate; ((2R)-3-(2-aminoethoxy(hydroxy)phosphoryl)oxy-2-hydroxypropyl) octadecanoate; 2-azaniumylethyl ((2R)-2-hydroxy-3-octadecanoyloxypropyl) phosphate; 69747-55-3; 18:0 LYSO-PE; LPE(18:0/0:0); 1-Stearoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine; 1-stearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine; PE(18:0/0:0); Stearoyl lysophosphatidylethanolamine; LysoPE(18:0/0:0); Stearoyllysophophatidylethanolamine; 1-stearoyl-phosphatidylethenolamine; Lysophosphatidylethanolamine(18:0/0:0); 1-stearoyl-sn-lysophosphatidylethanolamine; PE 18:0/0:0; 1-Octadecanoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine; (2-aminoethoxy)[2-hydroxy-3-(octadecanoyloxy)propoxy]phosphinic acid; [(2R)-3-[2-aminoethoxy(hydroxy)phosphoryl]oxy-2-hydroxy-propyl] octadecanoate; Octadecanoic acid, 3-[[(2-aminoethoxy)hydroxyphosphinyl]oxy]-2-hydroxypropyl ester, (R)-; LPE(18:0)
