Description:
DMG-mPEG1000 is a PEGylated lipid conjugate composed of a symmetric 1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-glycerol hydrophobic core covalently attached to a linear monomethoxy-terminated polyethylene glycol chain. The short C14:0 saturated acyl tails provide rapid lipid-dissociation kinetics from vesicular bilayers. This structural feature regulates particle size, limits aggregation, and modulates surface hydration profiles in self-assembled lipid matrices.
