Description:
(–)-α-Bisabolol is a lipophilic sesquiterpene alcohol found in Cannabis essential oils that possesses a broad range of antiparasitic, gastroprotective, and antinociceptive capabilities. It exerts direct lethal activity against Leishmania promastigotes, mitigates ethanol-induced mucosal lesions by reducing lipid peroxidation, and suppresses chemically induced inflammatory tissue edema and nociceptive pain pathways.
