Product Overview
Description:
Isoleptospermone is a polyketide synthase-derived beta-triketone naturally occurring in Leptospermum scoparium that exhibits versatile biochemical, herbicidal, and acaricidal activities, functioning as an inhibitor of plant 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) with an IC50 value of 14.3 µM for the Arabidopsis thaliana enzyme. It displays antimicrobial potency against Bacillus subtilis and Trichophyton mentagrophytes with MIC values of 2 and 1 µg/ml, respectively, demonstrates acute larvicidal lethality against Trichoplusia ni and Chrysodeixis includens third-instar larvae with LC50 values of 19.7 and 20.4 µg/larva while inducing foliar damage in cabbage, soybean, and corn crops, and exhibits high acaricidal toxicity against Sarcoptes scabiei mites, young eggs, and mature eggs with verified LC50 values of 59.4, 40.3, and 101.7 mM, respectively.
