Product Overview
Description:
Chenodeoxycholic acid 3-glucuronide is a highly hydrophilic conjugated steroidal metabolite generated during the phase II biotransformation of the primary bile acid chenodeoxycholic acid, synthesized natively within human liver microsomes through targeted UDP-glucuronosyltransferase-mediated glucuronidation at the 3-position of the steroid nucleus.
