Product Overview
Description:
Campesterol-d7 is an isotope-labeled phytosterol intended for use as an analytical internal standard for the mass spectrometry-based quantification (GC- or LC-MS) of campesterol. Campesterol is a plant-derived sterol identified in Datura innoxia that exhibits diverse biological properties, including the capacity to act as a marker for intestinal cholesterol absorption in humans, inhibit basic FGF-induced proliferation and capillary vessel formation in HUVECs at concentrations of 1, 5, or 10 µM, suppress MCF-7 and ZR-75-1 breast cancer cell proliferation at 15 µM, and significantly reduce estrogen receptor alpha (ERalpha) levels as well as the overall diameter of patient-derived breast cancer organoids when applied at 10 µM.
Labeling:
Stable isotope-labeled
