AdipoUpX™ Human PRKCB Ad5 Adenoviral Particle (Overexpression) is engineered for high-efficiency overexpression of human PRKCB. PRKCB encodes a protein kinase C family member involved in signal transduction pathways regulating cell survival, proliferation, and glucose metabolism. This product is suitable for studying obesity-related signaling events and metabolic pathway regulation. Extensive purification and QC screening are performed before release.

Handling Notes:

Summary:
PRKCB encodes protein kinase C beta, a calcium- and diacylglycerol-dependent serine/threonine kinase within the PKC family. The enzyme participates in numerous signaling pathways controlling B-cell activation, apoptosis, endothelial cell growth, and intestinal nutrient absorption.
