Description: Monkey insulin like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP-2) ELISA kit (0.1 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IGFBP-2 in monkey samples with a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.1 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The IGFBP-2 ELISA kit applies a quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay format. The microtiter plate is pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific for IGFBP-2. Standards or samples are added, allowing IGFBP-2 to bind to the pre-coated wells. To determine the concentration, an HRP-conjugated polyclonal antibody is added to "sandwich" the immobilized IGFBP-2. After incubation and thorough washing, substrate solutions are added, and color develops. The reaction is terminated with sulphuric acid and measured at 450 nm. A standard curve is plotted to interpolate the IGFBP-2 concentration in each sample.

The role of IGFBP-2 in obesity has garnered increasing attention. Its reduced levels are closely associated with obesity, dyslipidemia, and insulin resistance.
