Description: Sheep interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit (78.125-5000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in sheep samples with a range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 46.875 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit is pre-functionalized with an antibody specific to sheep IL-6. Samples or standards are added to the wells to bind with the specific antibody. Subsequently, a biotinylated detection antibody for sheep IL-6 and an avidin-HRP conjugate are added in sequence and incubated. Following a wash step to remove unbound material, a substrate solution is introduced. Color development occurs in proportion to the amount of sheep IL-6 present. The reaction is halted with a stop solution, and the absorbance is recorded at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of sheep IL-6 is then interpolated from the standard curve.
