Product Overview
Description:
Rat guanine nucleotide-binding protein, alpha-transducin 3 (GNAT3) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of GNAT3 in rat samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on GNAT3 antibody-GNAT3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect GNAT3 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
GNAT3 is a key component in the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling pathway. G proteins are heterotrimers composed of α, β, and γ subunits, acting as “messengers” between the intracellular and extracellular environments to transmit external signals—such as hormones, light, or odors—into the cell. GNAT3 is a specific subtype of the G protein alpha subunit. Given its central role in taste perception, it may be implicated in the onset and progression of obesity.
Synonyms:
Guanine nucleotide-binding protein G(t) subunit alpha-3; Gustducin alpha-3 chain; Guanine nucleotide binding protein, alpha transducing 3; GDCA
Applications:
Rat guanine nucleotide-binding protein, alpha-transducin 3 (GNAT3) ELISA kit is used to quantify GNAT3 in rat samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including signal transduction, obesity, and others.
