Product Overview
Description:
Human 1-acyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase alpha (AGPAT1) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human AGPAT1 levels with a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.06 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The provided ELISA kit is a typical double sandwich ELISA technique. The pre-coated antibody is human AGPAT1 monoclonal antibody and the detection antibody is biotin-labeled polyclonal antibody. The sample and biotin-labeled antibody are added to the ELISA plate wells and rinsed with PBS or TBS. Avidin-peroxidase conjugate is then sequentially added to the ELISA wells; the reactants are thoroughly rinsed with PBS or TBS and then colored with TMB substrate. TMB turns blue when catalyzed by peroxidase, and finally turns yellow in the presence of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with the detection factor in the sample.
Background:
AGPAT1 converts lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) into phosphatidic acid (PA), two phospholipids involved in signal transduction and intracellular lipid biosynthesis.
Synonyms:
1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 1; LPAAT-alpha; LPAAT1
Applications:
Human 1-acyl-sn-glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase alpha (AGPAT1) ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of AGPAT1 levels in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, organizations in the natural and recombinant AGPAT1 concentration samples.
