Product Overview
Description:
AdipoUpX™ Human PRMT7 Lentiviral Particle (Overexpression) is a ready-to-use, high-titer vector particle designed for the stable overexpression of the human PRMT7 gene. As a protein arginine methyltransferase, it is critical for researching the epigenetic regulation of muscle development and adipogenesis. The lentivirus characteristics ensure the target gene integrates into the host cell genome, establishing reliable stable cell lines for longitudinal study. Our vector system features a modular design, offering high flexibility for customization through various markers and promoters.

Summary:
PRMT7 encodes a member of the protein arginine N-methyltransferase family. The enzyme transfers methyl groups to arginine residues on histones and other proteins, generating monomethylarginines. It plays roles in neuronal differentiation, male germline imprinting, small nuclear ribonucleoprotein biogenesis, and regulation of Wnt signaling. Mutations in PRMT7 are associated with syndromes involving intellectual disability, short stature, and other features. Additionally, the protein may enhance breast cancer cell invasion and metastasis.
