Description: Rat fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) wide-range ELISA kit (12.35-1000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of FGF21 in rat samples with a range of 12.35-1000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 4.77 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique for Wide-range FGF21. A monoclonal antibody specific to wide-range FGF21 is pre-coated onto the microplate. Biotin-labeled FGF21 competes with unlabeled FGF21 in the sample for binding to the immobilized antibody. After washing away the unbound conjugate, avidin-HRP is added and incubated. The resulting color intensity after substrate addition is inversely proportional to the concentration of wide-range FGF21 present in the sample.
