Product Overview
Description:
Mouse relaxin-3 (RLN3) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of RLN3 in mouse samples with a range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on RLN3 antibody-RLN3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect RLN3 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
RLN3 is a neuropeptide hormone primarily expressed in the hypothalamus and brainstem, signaling through its receptor RXFP3. The core function of RLN3 involves participation in stress responses, mood regulation, cognitive processes, and the control of appetite and energy balance. In obesity research, the RLN3 signaling system has been found to influence food intake; activation of this pathway typically leads to weight gain and obesity, making it a key target for central regulation of appetite.
Synonyms:
Insulin-like peptide INSL7; Insulin-like peptide 7; Prorelaxin H3; INSL7; RXN3; ZINS4
Applications:
Mouse relaxin-3 (RLN3) ELISA kit is used to quantify RLN3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids of the mouse, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including neurodevelopment, appetite and energy balance, and others.
