Product Overview

Description: Mouse plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PAI-1 in mice samples with a range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.094 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle: The micro ELISA plate in this kit is pre-immobilized with an antibody specific to mouse PAI-1. Standards or samples are added to the wells to be captured by the specific antibody. Subsequently, a biotinylated detection antibody for mouse PAI-1 and an avidin-HRP conjugate are added in sequence and incubated. After washing away free components, a substrate solution is introduced. Only wells containing the mouse PAI-1 sandwich complex will appear blue, turning yellow upon acidification. The O.D. value, measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm, is proportional to the mouse PAI-1 concentration.
Background: As the primary physiological inhibitor of tissue-type plasminogen activator and urokinase-type plasminogen activator, PAI-1 exerts its effects by suppressing fibrinolysis and proteolysis. Its elevation is associated not only with thrombosis and fibrosis but also with obesity and insulin resistance.
Synonyms: SERPINE1; Endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor
Applications: Mouse plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL) is used to quantify PAI-1 in serum, plasma, and biological fluids of mouse, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including metabolism, fibrosis, thrombosis, obesity, etc.
Research Area: Metabolism; Fibrosis; Thrombosis; Obesity
