Description: Mouse fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) ELISA kit (15.6-1000 pg/mL, 7.8 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of FGF21 in mouse samples with a range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 7.8 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific to FGF21. Standards or samples are added to the wells along with a biotin-conjugated polyclonal antibody and avidin-HRP. After incubation, TMB substrate is introduced. Only wells containing FGF21, the biotinylated antibody, and the enzyme conjugate will exhibit a color change. The reaction is terminated with a sulphuric acid solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of FGF21 is determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
