Product Overview

Description: Mouse beta-3 adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL, 0.057 ng/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing mouse ADRB3 levels with a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.057 ng/mL.
Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for ADRB3. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells along with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ADRB3. HRP-conjugated avidin is then added to each microtiter well and incubated. Only wells containing ADRB3, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated avidin will show a color change upon addition of TMB substrate solution. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is then measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 10 nm. The OD of the sample is then compared to a standard curve to determine the concentration of ADRB3 in the sample.
Background: ADRB3, the β3-adrenergic receptor, regulates lipolysis, thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue, and vasodilation. β3-adrenergic receptor agonists have been found to have significant anti-obesity and anti-diabetic effects. ADRB3 is an attractive target in anti-obesity research.
Synonyms: β3AR; β3-AR; Beta-3 adrenoceptor
Applications: Mouse beta-3 adrenergic receptor (ADRB3) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL, 0.057 ng/mL) is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ADRB3 levels in mouse tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluid samples.
Research Area: Thermogenesis; Lipolysis; Signaling pathways; Metabolism; Adipocyte differentiation; Signal transduction; Obesity
