Description: Monkey growth hormone binding protein (GHBP) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of GHBP in monkey samples with a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 1.0 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This GHBP ELISA kit employs a competitive enzyme immunoassay technique utilizing a polyclonal anti-GHBP antibody and a GHBP-HRP conjugate. The sample and assay buffer are incubated with the GHBP-HRP conjugate in a pre-coated plate for one hour. Endogenous GHBP and the GHBP-HRP conjugate compete for the limited binding sites on the polyclonal antibody. After the incubation period, the wells are washed five times. Subsequently, the wells are incubated with a substrate for the HRP enzyme, creating a blue complex that turns yellow upon addition of the stop solution. The intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm and is inversely proportional to the GHBP concentration in the sample. A standard curve is generated relating the color intensity (O.D.) to the concentration of the standards to interpolate the GHBP concentration in each sample.
