Description: Human peptide YY (PYY) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich (31.25-2000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PYY in human samples with a range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 18.75 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This kit utilizes the sandwich-ELISA method. The provided microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to PYY. Standards or samples are added to the wells to be captured by the specific antibody. Subsequently, a biotinylated PYY detection antibody and an avidin-HRP conjugate are added successively. After washing away free components, a substrate solution is introduced. Only wells containing the PYY complex will appear blue, turning yellow after the addition of sulphuric acid. The O.D. value, measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm, is proportional to the PYY concentration.
