Product Overview
Description:
Canine medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADM) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA kit for analyzing canine ACADM levels and has high sensitivity and excellent specificity.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ACADM antibody-ACADM antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACADM antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ACADM is an enzyme that catalyzes the first step of mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation. It may serve as a target to regulate fatty acid metabolism for the treatment of obesity, cancer, and other related diseases.
Synonyms:
MCAD; Medium-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase; M-CAD; MCADH; Medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial; EC 1.3.8.7
Applications:
Canine medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADM) ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACADM levels in canine serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid, and tissue homogenate samples.
Research Area:
Fatty acid oxidation; Metabolism; Obesity
