Description: Human fibroblast growth factor 15 (FGF15) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of FGF15 in human with a range of 62.5-2000 pg/mL and a specificity of 10 pg/mL.

Assay Principle: The kit is based on FGF15 antibody-FGF15 antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect FGF15 antigen targets in samples.

Background: FGF15 is an endocrine factor primarily produced in the ileum that acts on the liver to inhibit bile acid synthesis. It also stimulates glucose uptake in adipocytes.
