Product Overview
Description:
Human aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C3 (AKR1C3) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL, 0.088 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of AKR1C3 in human with a range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.088 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on AKR1C3 antibody-AKR1C3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect AKR1C3 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
AKR1C3 is a steroidogenic enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of aldehydes and ketones into alcohols and belongs to the aldo/keto reductase family. Studies have found that it may be associated with certain pathological processes.
Synonyms:
Chlordecone reductase homolog HAKRb; Dihydrodiol dehydrogenase 3; DD-3; DD3; Dihydrodiol dehydrogenase type I; HA1753; Prostaglandin F synthase; PGFS; Testosterone 17-beta-dehydrogenase 5; DDH1; AK1C3; 17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 5; 17-beta-HSD 5; 3-alpha-HSD type II, brain; 3-alpha-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 2; 3-alpha-HSD type 2
Applications:
Human aldo-keto reductase family 1 member C3 (AKR1C3) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL, 0.088 ng/mL) is used to quantify AKR1C3 in biological samples of human, providing data to support a wide range of studies.
