Product Overview
Description:
Human acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 (ACACA) ELISA kit (32.1-2000 pg/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human ACACA levels with a detection range of 32.1-2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.7 pg/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ACACA antibody-ACACA antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACACA antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ACACA (also known as ACC1) is the first rate-limiting enzyme in fatty acid synthesis and is primarily responsible for converting cytoplasmic acetyl-CoA to malonyl-CoA. It plays a central role in fatty acid synthesis and is a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of obesity, cancer, metabolic diseases, and other disorders.
Synonyms:
ACC1; ACC-alpha; Acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase 1; EC 6.3.4.14
Applications:
Human acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 (ACACA) ELISA kit (32.1-2000 pg/mL) is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACACA levels in human biological samples.
Research Area:
Metabolites; Fatty acid biosynthesis; Obesity
