Description: Human CYP21B-Ab ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CYP21B-Ab in human. The kit is highly specific, sensitive, and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CYP21B-Ab. Standards or samples with horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated CYP21B-Ab are then added to the appropriate wells of the microtiter plate and incubated. A competitive inhibition reaction occurs between HRP-labeled CYP21B-Ab and unlabeled CYP21B-Ab and the antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops opposite the amount of CYP21B-Ab in the sample. The color development is stopped and the color intensity is measured.

Background: CYP21B-Ab, also known as 21-hydroxylase antibodies, are autoantibodies targeting the steroid 21-hydroxylase enzyme.
