Description: Chicken interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit-Quantitative competitive is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in chicken samples with a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 1.0 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This IL-6 ELISA kit utilizes a competitive enzyme immunoassay mechanism. The method employs a monoclonal anti-IL-6 antibody and an IL-6-HRP conjugate. Samples and assay buffers are co-incubated with the HRP conjugate in a pre-sensitized microplate for sixty minutes. Endogenous IL-6 and the enzyme-labeled conjugate compete for a finite number of antibody binding sites. Following incubation, the wells are decanted and washed five times to remove unbound reagents. An HRP-specific substrate is then introduced, forming a blue complex that shifts to yellow upon adding a stop solution. The resulting color intensity, recorded at 450 nm, is inversely proportional to the IL-6 concentration. Quantitative results are calculated by interpolating sample O.D. values against a generated standard curve.
