Product Overview
Description:
Cat dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of DPP4 in cats with high specificity.
Assay Principle:
An antibody specific for DPP4 has been pre-coated onto the microtiter plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and the immobilized antibody binds to any DPP4. After removing unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for DPP4 is added to the wells. After washing, streptavidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color is developed proportionally to the amount of DPP4 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background:
DPP4 is a complex and widely expressed enzyme that can cleave a variety of substrates, such as growth factors and neuropeptides, and is associated with immune regulation, glucose metabolism, signal transduction, and cell apoptosis.
Synonyms:
DPPIV; Adenosine deaminase complexing protein 2; CD26; Dipeptidylpeptidase 4
Applications:
Cat dipeptidyl peptidase 4 (DPP4) ELISA kit is an important tool for the quantitative detection of DPP4 in various biological samples (serum, plasma, and other biological fluids) of the cat.
