Description:
Canine 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 2C (5HTR2C) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of 5HTR2C in canine samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA technique for the quantitative measurement of 5HTR2C. A microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to 5HTR2C. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target 5HTR2C is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing away unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated detection antibody specific for 5HTR2C is introduced. Following another wash, Streptavidin-conjugated HRP is added. After a final wash to remove unbound reagents, a substrate solution is added; color develops in direct proportion to the amount of 5HTR2C bound in the initial step. The reaction is stopped, and the color intensity is measured.
