Description: Bovine insulin like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP-2) ELISA kit (78.125-5000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IGFBP-2 in bovine samples with a range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 33 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This kit utilizes a sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. A microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to IGFBP-2. Standards or samples are introduced into the wells along with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody. This process forms a "sandwich" complex, effectively capturing any IGFBP-2 present in the specimen. After incubation, an avidin-HRP conjugate is added to each well. A final wash step removes all unbound components before the addition of a TMB substrate solution. The resulting colorimetric change is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 10 nm after the enzymatic reaction is terminated with a sulfuric acid solution. The concentration of IGFBP-2 in the samples is then determined by comparing their absorbance (O.D.) to a standard curve.
