Product Overview
Description:
Bovine chymotrypsin-C (CTRC) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CTRC in bovine.
Assay Principle:
An antibody specific for CTRC has been pre-coated on a microtiter plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and any CTRC will be bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CTRC is added to the wells. After washing, streptavidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color is developed proportionally to the amount of CTRC bound in the first step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background:
CTRC is a serine protease produced in the pancreas that is involved in the digestion of proteins in the small intestine.
Synonyms:
CLCR; ELA4; Chymotrypsin C
Applications:
Bovine chymotrypsin-C (CTRC) ELISA kit is an important tool for the quantitative detection of CTRC in various biological samples (serum, plasma, and other biological fluids) of bovine.
