Product Overview
Description:
Sheep cell death activator CIDE-A (CIDEA) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CIDEA in sheep. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on CIDEA antibody-CIDEA antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CIDEA antigen targets in samples.
Background:
CIDEA is an important transcriptional coactivator that regulates mammary gland secretion of milk fat. It plays a role in thermogenesis and lipolysis. Studies have found that CIDEA-deficient mice have a higher metabolic rate and more efficient lipolysis.
Synonyms:
Cell death inducing DFFA like effector a; Cell death-inducing DFFA-like effector A; CIDE-A; Lipid transferase CIDEA
Applications:
Sheep cell death activator CIDE-A (CIDEA) ELISA kit is an important tool for the quantitative detection of CIDEA in various biological samples (serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid, tissue homogenate) of sheep.
Research Area:
Metabolic pathway; Obesity research
