Product Overview
Description:
Rat retinoic acid receptor responder protein 2 (RARRES2) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of RARRES2 in rat samples with a range of 0.9-60 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.225 ng /mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for RARRES2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, ensuring any RARRES2 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for RARRES2 is added to the wells. After a subsequent wash, avidin-conjugated HRP is introduced. Following a final wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and color develops in proportion to the amount of RARRES2 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped by an acidic solution, and the intensity of the color is measured spectrophotometrically.
Background:
Retinoic acid receptor responder 2 (RARRES2, also known as chemerin) is a secreted protein with a signal peptide that localizes to the extracellular matrix region. It functions in protein and receptor binding, and is involved in processes such as chemotaxis, cell differentiation, fat cell differentiation, brown adipocyte development, lipid metabolism, and inflammatory responses.
Synonyms:
TIG2; Chemerin; Tazarotene-induced gene 2; Retinoic acid receptor responder 2; Tazarotene induced; RAR-responsive protein TIG2
Applications:
Rat retinoic acid receptor responder protein 2 (RARRES2) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is used to quantify RARRES2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and tissue homogenates of rat, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including cytokine, metabolic pathways, Infection immunity, obesity, and others.
