Description: Rat insulin like growth factor binding protein 2 (IGFBP-2) ELISA kit (78.13-5000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IGFBP-2 in rat samples with a range of 78.13-5000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 20 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific to IGFBP-2. Standards or samples are added to the wells along with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and avidin-HRP, followed by incubation. TMB substrate is then added to each well. Only wells containing the IGFBP-2 complex will exhibit a color change. The reaction is terminated by a sulphuric acid solution, and the absorbance is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of IGFBP-2 is determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
