Product Overview
Description:
Rat C-reactive protein (CRP) mini samples ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CRP in rats with a range of 0.78-50 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.34 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on CRP antibody-CRP antigen interactions (immunosorbent) and the HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CRP antigen targets in samples.
Background:
CRP is an acute-phase protein of hepatic origin, whose circulating concentrations rise in response to inflammation. It is considered a key plasma protein that can bind to Leptin, and its potential role in regulating leptin's function in obesity is crucial.
Synonyms:
Pentraxin-related; pentraxin 1; C-RP; PTX1
Applications:
Rat C-reactive protein (CRP) mini samples ELISA kit is used to quantify CRP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluid samples of rat, providing data to support a wide range of studies.
