Product Overview
Description:
Rabbit glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of GSH-Px in rabbit samples with a range of 25-500 U/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 1.0 U/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on GSH-Px antibody-GSH-Px antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect GSH-Px antigen targets in samples.
Background:
Glutathione peroxidase is a family of antioxidant enzymes widely distributed throughout the human body. Their core function is to protect cells from oxidative damage. Obesity itself is considered a chronic low-grade inflammatory state, often accompanied by significant oxidative stress. Glutathione peroxidase is a potential regulator of obesity.
Synonyms:
GPXP; GPx-3; GSHPx-3; GPx-P; GSHPx-P; GPX3
Applications:
Rabbit glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) ELISA kit is used to quantify GSH-Px in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid, and tissue homogenate of rabbit, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including oxidative stress, metabolism, obesity, and others.
Research Area:
Oxidative stress; Metabolism; Obesity
