Product Overview
Description:
Pig 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase (ABHD5) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing pig ABHD5 levels with high sensitivity and excellent specificity.
Assay Principle:
An antibody specific for ABHD5 has been pre-coated on a microtiter plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and any ABHD5 is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removal of unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ABHD5 is added to the wells. After washing, streptavidin-conjugated HRP is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color develops in proportion to the amount of ABHD5 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background:
ABHD5 is a lysophosphatidic acid acyltransferase that plays a role in the biosynthesis of phosphatidic acid and lipid metabolism.
Synonyms:
CGI-58; Abhydrolase domain-containing protein 5
