Product Overview

Description: Mouse peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) ELISA kit (0.312-20 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PPARδ in mouse samples with a range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.114 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle: The test principle applied in this kit is the sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to PPARδ. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to PPARδ. Next, avidin-conjugated HRP is added to each microplate well and incubated. After the TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain the PPARδ complex will exhibit a color change. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 10 nm. The concentration of PPARδ in the samples is determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Background: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor that regulates gene expression involved in fatty acid transport, beta-oxidation, and lipid metabolism. Activated by polyunsaturated fatty acids and other ligands, PPARδ promotes energy expenditure, fatty acid catabolism, and transcription of metabolic genes, contributing to the regulation of glucose and lipid homeostasis. Dysregulation of PPARδ activity can impair lipid metabolism and energy balance, linking it to obesity and related metabolic disorders.
Synonyms: PPARD; PPARd; PPAR-delta; Nuclear hormone receptor 1; NUC1
Applications: Mouse peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) ELISA kit (0.312-20 ng/mL) is used to quantify PPARδ in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids of mouse, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including signal transduction, metabolic pathway, obesity, and others.
