Description: Mouse enoyl coenzyme A hydratase, short chain, 1, mitochondrial (ECHS1) ELISA kit (0.625-20 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of ECHS1 in mouse with a range of 0.625-20 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.1 ng/mL.

Assay Principle: The kit is based on the ECHS1 antibody-ECHS1 antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and the HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ECHS1 antigen targets in samples.

Background: ECHS1 belongs to the enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase family. It functions in the second step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. It catalyzes the hydration of 2-trans-enoyl-coenzyme A (CoA) intermediates to L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoAs.
