Product Overview

Description: Mouse cholecystokinin (CCK) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CCK in mouse with a range of 23.438-1500 pg/mL and a specificity of 14.063 pg/mL.
Assay Principle: The anti-CCK antibody is pre-coated onto a 96-well plate. The biotin-conjugated anti-CCK antibody is then used as the detection antibody. Standards, assay samples, and biotin-conjugated detection antibody are then added to the wells and washed with buffer. HRP-streptavidin is added, and the unbound conjugate is washed away with washing solution. TMB substrate is used to observe the HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB produces a blue product catalyzed by HRP, which turns yellow upon addition of an acidic termination solution. The concentration of yellow color is proportional to the amount of CCK sample captured in the plate. The concentration of CCK is calculated by reading the absorbance at 450 nm with a microplate reader.
Background: CCK is a peptide hormone produced in the small intestine that primarily stimulates gallbladder contraction and pancreatic enzyme release, and also plays a role in satiety.
Synonyms: CCK-PZ
Applications: Mouse cholecystokinin (CCK) ELISA kit is used to quantify CCK in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples of mouse, providing data to support a wide range of studies.
Research Area: Tumor immunity;Endocrinology;Neuro science;Hepatology;Hormone metabolism
