Description: Mouse carbohydrate sulfotransferase 3 (CHST3) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of CHST3 in mouse, which is highly specific and easy to use.

Assay Principle: An antibody specific for CHST3 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and any CHST3 is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CHST3 is added to the wells. After washing, streptavidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color develops in proportion to the amount of CHST3 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.

Background: CHST3 is an enzyme that catalyzes the 6-sulfation of chondroitin, which is essential for the proper structure and function of cartilage and connective tissues.
