Description: Monkey apolipoprotein C-III (Apo-CIII) ELISA kit (62.5-2000 μg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of Apo-CIII in monkey with a range of 62.5-2000 μg/mL and a specificity of 10 μg/mL.

Assay Principle: The kit is based on Apo-CIII antibody-Apo-CIII antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Apo-CIII antigen targets in samples.

Background: Apolipoprotein C-III is secreted by the liver and small intestine. It is a very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) protein that inhibits lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase. Studies have found that it plays a key role in the metabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRLs).
