Product Overview
Description:
Human very long-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (ACADVL) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human ACADVL levels with a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, which is less sensitive than 0.059 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ACADVL antibody-ACADVL antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACADVL antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ACADVL is active on long-chain and very long-chain fatty acid esters such as palmitoyl-CoA, stearoyl-CoA, and myristoyl-CoA, and plays a role in fatty acid beta oxidation.
Synonyms:
VLCAD; Very long-chain acyl-CoA dehydrogenase; EC 1.3.8.9
Applications:
Human very long-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial (ACADVL) ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACADVL levels in human tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluid samples.
Research Area:
Fatty acid oxidation; Metabolism; Obesity
