Product Overview
Description:
Human sorbin and SH3 domain-containing protein 1 (SORBS1) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of SORBS1 in human samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on SORBS1 antibody-SORBS1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect SORBS1 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
SORBS1, also known as CAP, is a junctional protein involved in intracellular signal transduction. Its core function is as a key protein in the insulin signaling pathway, participating in insulin receptor activation and downstream GLUT4 vesicle translocation signaling. Variants and functional defects in the SORBS1 gene are closely associated with insulin resistance, obesity, and susceptibility to type 2 diabetes.
Synonyms:
CAP/Ponsin protein
Applications:
Human sorbin and SH3 domain-containing protein 1 (SORBS1) ELISA kit is used to quantify SORBS1 in human samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including signal transduction, metabolism, and others.
Research Area:
Signal transduction; Metabolism
